Here it is. 400 years later and we are still being called “Nigga” and told that we should “Let this bullshit go.” Here it is 400 years later and a blatantly racist person has decided to take this picture, a picture with this much pain, this much hate and this much hurt behind it and not ONLY attach a sick, hate fueled racist word to it but also say “Let this bullshit go.” Here we are 400 years later, except…it HASN’T been 400 years and if you’d spent as much time educating yourself as you did under your Klan hood, you would be aware of this information.
Therein lies the problem… white people have been socially trained to not register empathy with POC and their plights. They see this photo and it’s just a “piece of history” to them. A moment in time they’re detached from. We can’t be detached from this. This is OUR history. This photo could be anyone in our familial pasts. They don’t see why this is still painfully relevant to us, now.
This isn’t “bullshit to get over”, when it’s 400 years to present that this is happening.

I don’t understand people. I loved everyone, cared about people who i thought cared about me. But i’m wrong, no one give a too-shits about me. -__- So Now its ME, Myself And I.
It isn’t easy for her, being a big girl. She’s aware she’s fat/thick. She doesn’t get those compliments like “OMG, you’re so pretty, I’m jealous of you, I wish I had your face/body/hair/boobs/ass etc”. Guys don’t really approach her and get to know what a great girlfriend she can be, guys don’t even take a second look when she walks by She hears stories from her friends about how guys hit on them,… about their boyfriend problems and she tells herself “I wish I had that”. She can’t help but be jealous of other girls with ugly personalities be treated like queens, while humble girls like her don’t get noticed. But you know something, girl? It is their loss. They are too shallow to recognize what’s beautiful right in front of them, & too busy complaining about girls are nothing but bitches and hoes when that’s all they chase. In the end, you’ll get the last laugh.
